JP shared a Shel Silverstein poem with his wee-one and the rest of us, which reminded me of one that has rattled around in my brain for a bit which I felt needed to be shared as well. Did you ever read any of his work? I remember curling up with Where the Sidewalk Ends, and The Giving Tree a bunch of times as a kidlet! Such great timeless books that are still shelved at my parents house. Ah the memories
of the weird drawings… Anyway. I share this wisdom with you….
Listen to the mustn’t, child, listen to the don’ts, listen to the shouldn’ts, the impossibles, the won’ts, listen to the never haves, then listen close to me anything can happen, child. Anything can be. ~ Shel Silverstein
